Copyright for Graduate Students: (March 26, 2013, 1:00 – 3:00, Alexander Library, Pane Room) The workshop will cover the basics of copyright, use of copyrighted works in research and scholarly publications, copyright issues for dissertations and theses, use of copyrighted works in classroom teaching and online education, copyright in one’s own works, contract law as it applies to digital resources, and the current legal landscape in higher education and open access scholarly communication.
